Lenovo D32WC-20 31.5″ QHD Curved Monitor Review

The Lenovo D32WC-20 is a 31.5″ quad HD curved monitor from well-established brand Lenovo and for the last few weeks it’s been my main monitor. How good is the Lenovo D32WC-20 and should you buy one? Read on to find out.

The Lenovo D32WC-20 Design

The design of the Lenovo D32WC-20 is really nice, it has very thin bezels around the edges with a slightly bigger chin. That chin includes a status light and then on the back of the monitor is where you’ll find your power button and menu buttons. The monitor has a fairly subtle but really nice curve bringing the edges of the screen that little bit closer to you and making such a large screen easier on the eyes.

In addition the Lenovo D32WC-20 comes with a sturdy black stand that looks good too.

Lenovo D32WC-20 Specification

The Lenovo D32WC-20 packs in quite a lot considering it sits towards the lower end of large curved monitors.

Here are the Lenovo D32WC-20 highlights:

  • 31.5″ QHD display
  • A response time as low as 4ms
  • 16:9 widescreen ratio
  • Maximum resolution of 2560 by 1440
  • Supports up to 16.7 million colours
  • Up to 250 nits brightness
  • Conforms to VEDA standards for wall mounting and desk clamps.
  • 1 audio output, 1 HDMI input and 1 DisplayPort input

In practice, all of this means that the Lenovo D32WC-20 is packed with features and is a very bright monitor (I had to turn the brightness down!). It also has a B energy rating making it one of the more energy efficient monitors out there and even has an anti-blue light mode which is good for your eyes.

How well does the Lenovo monitor perform?

I used my computer for everything from video editing to app development and of course all the usual web browsing, writing articles on the Mark’s Tech Blogs blog and more and this is a brilliant monitor for all of those tasks. The display looks amazing, it’s super responsive and when watching videos it looks great too.

The curve and anti blue light modes also make it a really comfortable monitor to use on your eyes if you’re using it for long periods of time.

After using it for a few weeks I have to say that it’s game-changing to have so much space to work on and I can’t see myself going back. When people read reviews they want to know about the negatives too and the only downside of this monitor (if I’m being super picky) is that the options menu is really tricky to navigate…but so is the options menu on every monitor I’ve ever used.

Should you buy the Lenovo D32WC-20?

If you want a reasonably priced, big curved monitor then look no further, the Lenovo D32WC-20 will not disappoint. However, this is a big monitor so if you want something smaller then you should certainly check out some of Lenovos other monitors I’ve put below.
